Advanced riders will consider they learn something every time they ride. With practice you'll continually improve, but knowing where to begin can be difficult. Motorcyclists run a much greater risk of suffering serious injury than car drivers, for obvious reasons. Without the protective metal shell, air bags, seat belts and crumple zones that a car provides, there is no such thing as a minor accident.
NWAM Observers can help you take advantage of heightened further observation, better positioning coupled with defensive riding techniques to enable you to balance out the risks. Any collision or contact can and probably will be serious. Working with you your NWAM Observer will offer advice aimed at getting you through your test. Having done this you should gain confidence and become a better rider once you have passed.

IAM Special Assessment
The IAM Special Assessment is available to anyone who has already passed their IAM Advanced Test. This assessment represents the Highest Level of Advanced Riding Assessment available to civilians.
