We provide an informal environment in which one of our Observers will introduce (usually on a one-to-one basis) the techniques associated with the Police Riding System. This forms the basis of the 'Skill for Life' package offered by the IAM.

The "Skill for Life" package comprises of Associate Membership of a local IAM Group to help prepare for the IAM Test, the relevant IAM manual ("Pass Your Advanced Motorycle Test"), the IAM Test Fee itself, and your first years membership of the IAM after passing the test. You will also receive a complimentary copy of the "Highway Code" from NWAM. This package is valid for up to 12 months after purchase (and may be extended further upon application).

The 'Skill for Life' package can be purchased for the a one-off, up-front payment of £85.00. This fee is paid directly to the IAM. The only additional expense is that we ask our Associates to contribute £5.00 per run (to be paid directly to their Observer) to cover their 'out of pocket' expenses.
